Detection of Underperforming and Degraded Croplands at Scale

We are working to identify areas that could be restored or improved and to mobilize public and private efforts to bring these lands back into production. We use the worlds longest, globally available satellite ‘greenness’ index to automatically detect cropland converstion, crop type, and the long-term trend of cropland greenness (closely related to yield)
