S-TRACE is a proposed student-led project focused on building a cyber situational awareness tool for space–terrestrial systems. The goal of the project is to help satellite operators and analysts better understand when satellites are accessible, how data travels between ground and space assets, and where cyber risks could impact mission operations. By bringing together orbital visibility data, communication path modeling, and cyber threat information into one platform, S-TRACE aims to reduce unexpected communication losses and support faster, more informed responses to incidents.
