The focus of this project will be to develop, deploy and optimize an image recognition application on NVDIA General Processing Units (GPUs)that will:
Locate and process license plates from raw images using image recognition software Automatically identify every license plate number (alphanumeric strings) and include a recognition confidence value Optimize computations on NVIDIA GPUs Handle ~3,000 vehicles per hour per lane Work in any condition (day, night and inclement weather) Identify license plate numbers on both the front and back of a vehicle if necessary Maintain a secure software system to mitigate any potential data privacy issues
